Another great weekend

Myself and a couple of buddies took a small trip out east of us and did some river fishing. The river was in fantastic shape, though a bit low, but still kicked out quiet a few fish. Nothing out of the world big but fun none the less

We were able to see some great wildlife as well. In the first picture below if you look hard enough you can see a moose on the opposite river bank up a ways, and the second picture contains the worlds most pissed off (at me at least) river otter.

After several hours of fishing and several fish to hand we called it a night. The next day we headed to a favorite area of mine and did some small stream fishing and made a quick stop another place

at the end of this little creek we came across one heck of a surprise  a newly constructed beaver dam, which I thought I took a picture of but must not have.

The other little place we stopped at kicked out a few nice fish, as usual, for us before we took off for home.

More fishing to follow soon!

  1. Glad you're back, Koch! It must feel really nice to hold a fat trout from cold water again. Good on ya, bro.
